What is maximum structural cruising speed?
Maximum structural cruising speed (V-NO) is the highest speed at which the airplane should be operated in normal cruise; above it you should fly only in smooth air, because turbulence or abrupt control inputs could overstress the structure. On the airspeed indicator it marks the top of the green arc (the normal operating range) and the start of the yellow arc (caution range). Think of it as the "rough-air limit" — fly slower than V-NO when the air gets bumpy.
