Spin
What is spin?
A spin is an aggravated stall in which the aircraft descends in a helical, or corkscrew, path. It occurs when one wing is more stalled than the other, causing the aircraft to rotate as it falls. Think of it as a stall plus a roll/yaw—both wings are stalled, but unevenly, so the plane spirals down nose-low.
